Overview
Larius Partners is a private investment office that invests proprietary capital and the capital of a group of affiliated families directly into companies.
The Firm was established to give a small number of high-profile, long-established families a single, institutional-quality vehicle for direct investment, and to give the next generation of founders, entrepreneurs and operators a source of capital that behaves as an owner rather than as a fund: next-generation capital for the businesses of the next decade.
Mandate
The Firm’s mandate is intentionally broad. It invests across venture capital, growth equity, buyouts and pre-public equity; takes minority, majority and full-control positions; and structures capital using common equity, preferred equity, structured and hybrid instruments and secondaries as the situation requires.
Commitments range from US$50 million to US$1 billion per company over the life of an investment, with venture capital commitments made from US$10 million and larger commitments made together with Platform participants. The Firm is not bound by region and considers opportunities in North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, subject to a small number of legal and reputational exclusions.

We hold
Permanent capital: no fund term, no deployment target, no obligation to sell. The Firm underwrites a business over a ten-year horizon and holds through cycles.
We decide in writing
A written investment thesis before commitment; a clear decision, with reasons, where the Firm declines. Counterparties receive the Firm's reasoning, not a form letter.
We back people
A committed management team with a demonstrated record of execution is the one fixed requirement. The Firm invests in operators who intend to remain.
We back the next generation
Next-generation capital for the next generation of founders, entrepreneurs and operators, including those outside legacy capital networks, evaluated on the same basis as any other opportunity.
We stay discreet
The affairs of the families, the Platform and the companies the Firm invests in are conducted with the confidentiality their own affairs demand.
Technology
The Firm maintains particular expertise in artificial-intelligence infrastructure, compute, data, energy and the physical layer beneath the models, and in frontier technology more broadly. It applies that expertise both to technology investments and to established businesses those technologies will transform.
Post-investment
Following an investment the Firm typically appoints a dedicated team to work alongside management, drawing on the industrial expertise, relationships and networks of the families behind the Firm, and arranges follow-on and co-investment capital from the Platform where required.
